 Food, Music and Fun for All at the 14th Annual Mudbug Boil on May 1

 

            DENTON - Crawfish, fried fish, fixins, live music and good times are in store at the 14th Annual Denton Mudbug Boil on May 1. Held at 1211 W. Hickory St. behind Riprock's and Lucky Lou's from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the event benefits several local charities, including Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home, Friends of the Family, AIDS Services of North Texas and Mothers of Multiples. Entry-only tickets are $5 and all-you-can-eat (while it lasts) tickets are $15.

            Musical guests will include Rodney Parker and 50 Peso Reward, The Heelers, The Von Ehrics, Big Daddy Alright, Rtb2, The Shed (x- Doosu) and The King Bucks. The first band starts at noon.

There also will be a children's play area and a silent auction.
