“Just for the Fun(ds) of It”


A new and unique comedy fundraiser benefiting Cumberland Presbyterian Children’s Home.

April 20th, 2010
The Campus Theatre in Denton
6:45 p.m. – wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres
7:30 p.m. – performance by comedian and Denton native Tony Stone

This will be a totally funny event benefitting a seriously good cause. We have some fantastic sponsorship packages, and we’re not kidding around:


  1. Life of the Party - $1,500
    Includes Campus Theatre marquis billing, listing in event advertising and press releases, emcee announcements of sponsorship and sponsorship boards at the event, and six show tickets
  2. Humorist - $750
    Includes listing in event advertising and press releases, emcee announcements of sponsorship and sponsorship boards at the event, and four show tickets
  3. Jokester - $500
    Includes listing in event advertising and press releases, sponsorship boards at the event, and three show tickets
  4. Wit - $250
    Includes sponsorship boards at the event, and two show tickets

CPCH will consider in-kind donations of goods and services needed for the event in exchange for sponsorship package benefits.

Tickets to the show are $50 per person.

"Twogether in Texas" Pre-marital Education Classes

CPCH participates in the State of Texas' "Twogether in Texas" program, which offers a large discount on marriage license fees to couples who complete eight hours of pre-marital education. If you are interested in registering for a Twogether in Texas class, please contact the Parenting Center in Fort Worth at (817) 632-5538.



Becoming a Love and Logic Parent® Classes
Learn how to raise responsible, respectful and fun-to-be-around kids! Cost is $35/person plus $10 for a class workbook.
