As a ministry of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in response to Christ's love and example, the Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home exists to provide a safe and wholesome environment for the development of children and to bring healing and hope to children and their families.

Upcoming Events

  • Charity Golf Tournament hosted by Nuconsteel: This four-man-scramble format tournament will be held on Monday, May 12, at Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, Texas. Proceeds will benefit CPCH. The event will kick off with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Sponsorships with great incentives are still available, and we are also seeking teams of four golfers to participate in the tournament.   • Parade of Pools hosted by Gohlke Pools: The annual Parade of Pools will be on May 17 from noon to 4 p.m. This tour, which features five of the most spectacular backyards in Denton, is a great opportunity to get landscaping, outdoor living and swimming pool ideas. All of the proceeds benefit CPCH. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Gohlke Pools, 909 Dallas Drive, in Denton. Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for children.
  • CPCH Garage Sale: Games, toys, books, household items and furniture are among the treasures which will be on sale at Cumberland Presbyterian Children's Home's garage sale on May 17. The garage sale will be held in the Gilbert-Parr Activities Building (the gym) on CPCH's campus. Doors will open at 7 a.m. for a special hour-long "preview shop" - for $2 per person, shoppers will have the chance to browse and buy items before doors are opened to the general public at 8 a.m. From 8 a.m. to noon - or until all items are sold - entry is free to everyone. All proceeds from the garage sale will benefit CPCH's programs for children, teens and families in North Texas.
  • American Eagle HOG 6th Annual Pass the Pigs Ride: This great ride on Saturday, May 31, is an open event -- all bikes are welcome -- and proceeds benefit CPCH. The ride starts and ends at American Eagle Harley Davidson/Buell in Corinth. On-site registration begins at 9 a.m. and the first bike is out at 9:30 a.m. Last bike in is at 3 p.m., and field events start at 3 p.m. There will be bike games, chapter/club challenges, bike blessings, food and drink specials and cash prizes. Pre-registration is $15/person and must be postmarked by May 15. Go to to download the pre-registration flyer . On-site registration is $20/person.
