Mentors for Teenagers
Here at CPCH, we believe that mentorship is one of the best ways to improve the lives of our residents, not only while they are here, but for the rest of their lives. Mentors may receive approval for both on and off campus visits, and are an integral component to the vision of CPCH for hope and healing.
Additional Requirements:

- Must have family or professional experience with children.
- Must have valid TX driver’s license.
Tutors for Teenagers
At CPCH, we feel immensely responsible for the education of our residents and want them to succeed educationally as long as they are here. Tutors are a valuable asset in helping our residents achieve all of their scholarly goals.

Additional Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Needs to be able to provide proof of proficiency in specific subject (i.e. recent school transcript, copy of certification, etc.)
Children’s Workshop Teachers
Children’s Workshop is a program offered to kids in CPCH’s Single Parent Family program, and serves as a venue for kids to interact and play with one another, express their creativity, and learn important lessons. Teachers for the workshop are responsible for typically about 10 children, ages 3 to 9, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. every Friday evening.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have experience in childcare.
- Needs to attend one of our Becoming a Love & Logic Parent® seminars (CPCH will cover the cost).
Library Volunteers
At CPCH, our library is a valuable resource for our residents. Volunteers are essential in keeping the library organized, efficient, and effective for CPCH residents and staff. Duties would include processing donated books, checking in/out books, and keeping shelves organized.
Donation Drives
Monetary and/or supply drives sponsored by groups or individuals in the community are welcome, with the prior approval of CPCH. Contact jjordan@cpch.org for more info.
